I thought news re common directors accepting had come from a reputable source, that's you makattack! :)
It probably wouldn't be 14 days yet but perhaps there may be a grey area around what constitutes changes to a director's interests? Whilst they lose effective control of shares is it the case that you are still considered the owner until exchange is completed?
50.1% is a certainty imo. Browny will get MAK close to 49% on his own.
