As I understand, there is no clear-cut "transaction window" for directors trading in their own companies' shares, at least not in ASX's "listing rules".
So I think that ASX (and ASIC) simply leave it to the directors' own judgement, with respect to whether or not their transactions are within reasonable time-frames.
Having said that, it is reasonable to assume that the access is not far away, based on both company announcements and my email contacts with IK.
