Very interesting day, 100+ people and lots of locals to talk to. Well worth the trip down from brissie.

We were shown past the box cut, rom pad, processing plant site and so forth. They've done an impressive amount of work to control run off during rainfall. The decline hasn't started yet, but the engineer giving the tour said hopefully within a month. Overall it looks to be coming along nicely, the site layout plan was on display to make sense of it all.

A drill rig could be seen and faintly heard on the adjacent hillside continuing the near mine exploration.

The sausages were indeed delicious :)
