My only explanation/ supposition is that BEN does not see the money as being in doubt, and expect to win in the courts.
Re your earlier post on "Mum & Dad " investors.
They have the same financial resposibility as any other borrower, so on this, I don't quite see your point.
The main attraction to the MIS's in the first place was their tax benefits, which mainly appealed to high income/ high net high worth individuals.
Therefore these people probably do make up the bulk of the investors in the schemes.
