I'm an individual guy who just started with commsec and i'm having a hard time understanding tax . I have had anz shares since 2011 and not had sold it although I get dividends from it, I'm also starting to do trading myself on commsec and atm I keep topping up one stock of my portfolio and I'm confused how to work it out if ever I will sell it in future and still holding after consolidation so the company has change and my shares had been consolidated.
Although I'm a client of an accounting firm, I still wanna learn so I can do this myself and an accounting software. Thanx!
