With 3G on your i-phone and a hot spot if you wanna work from your laptop, why would you bother with wifi? Maybe if you're a tourist and your hotel doesn't have it, small market though. TV ads costs $10,000 for 30 seconds with a 1 million audience. How much of an audience could this attract? 1 million people for a short advertisement = $10,000. How long will it take to get 1 million people look at a wifi advertisement?
Jeanswest will be able to measure the hits they get on their website from this, won't take long to work out if it's a winner.
IMO - not getting cash flow positive on this one. Not any time soon on a handful on train stations. Not even close.
