What does everyone else think? Why is ANZ choosing NOT to offload? Lawsuit or amiable relationship with solamind/SLA?
I think its the dominant strategy of both parties to come to some sort of arrangement. Dropping that amount of shares onto the market which is as thinly traded as this would not be in anyone's best interest.
ANZ wants to maximise their return, solamind want their shares back. SURELY some arrangement can be arranged. Besides, ANZ needs to sell a large parcel, and Solamind needs to acquire a large parcel of shares. Solamind also has an insurmountable competitive advantage due to the shareholders being key employees, when making a bid. They are the critical asset of SLA. If things didn't go their way, they could realistically sink SLA. Which wouldn't help ANZ. Nice bargaining position.
Lets think it through rationally and without all the hysterical emotion that has been running through this thread for the last few days. ANZ and solamind have a mutual incentive to work together towards a resolution.
What would be the incentive for ANZ to act otherwise?
