I have seen a lot of theories over the last few days that the fun and games with the SP may be being caused by certain individuals accumulating. Of course the trading halt also really threw the cat amongst the pigeons - still no idea what that debacle was about!

I wonder though whether the volumes over the past 2 weeks really support a large scale accumlation theory. Let me quantify by saying that I have been accumulating nicely, picking up 50-100k parcels 6 of the last 10 trading days. However, this is very much small beans in the overall picture. I just dont see the consistent high volumes that would be expected if big players were delibretly keeping the SP down in order to accumlate.

Perhaps there is a small element of Cunninghams bitterness at play...who knows.

One thing is for sure, based on the announcements of the past few days there will be some serious consolidation of holdings, particularly amongst the long term holders.

Hold your nerve old timers...reward for all the stress and sleepless nights is just around the corner....can you smell it?
