What you have to take into account is the Coglin Yue factor. He has more say than LYC. He also has ties to the largest rare earth producer in China. Don't underestimate that connection. Don't underestimate the lengths that China will go to dominate. Don't underestimate the importance of the heavies in the rare earth game. Don't underestimate who holds the Aces.
What it will mean is that some competition will be good for NTU but not so good for LYC.
