An acquaintance of mine is a geoligist in the O&G sector. He knows I hold CVN and we bumped into eachother briefly yesterday. He had read the report by DeGolyer MacNaughton and offered that to him it is a solid report indicating a lot of oil. He offered DeGolyer MacNaughton reports are reliable & conservative in their findings - so he expects the actual case to come in higher than that reported. It was of no surprise to him that CVN commissioned an independant report - with Apache assets being up for sale this could lead to a lack of interest/personnel available from their part to focus on the details required re Phoenix.
Our chat was all too brief, but the gist from him was to be more than happy from a CVN shareholders point of view.
