Great article. Much better to restart and use nuclear power than all this battery crap. People are all excited about electric cars and storage and the reduction of fossil fuel emissions.
What they don’t think about is that fossil fuel combustion engines are getting more efficient by the year and where are all the batteries going to go once they have reached their use by dates?
Currently AA lithium batteries etc head to landfill. Hopefully our planet doesn’t turn into one of those post apocalyptic landscapes you see in movies where batteries and other junk clutter a wasteland.
Better off finding better ways to dispose of and breakdown nuclear waste and continuing to improve fuel fuel emissions than to make a whole bunch of batteries that may or may not be recycleable.
