Australia cattle is still competitive because of low tariff in China and will be reduced to zero. When WLD is beginning to export cattle to China, they will definitely reduce supply cattle to Indonesia and Vietnam market, reduce supply will improve margin.
Tariff in Indonesia and Veinam is much higher than China, also according to FTA, China will import 1M cattle everyday and this number will increase in the future.
Because of high labor cost, live cattle export will increase compare with processed beef export. Australia donot have competitive advantage for processed beef compare with Brazil and other South American countries.
