There were some good set ups on BHP, RIO, NCM and the XJO
and yes BHP is trading in it's channel and yesterday was it's top of the channel for the week. As you can see it has gapped down and so did RIO.

Correct,yes you can make 20% or 30% in 1 or 2 days.
In general most stocks move in a 3 or 4 day period either up or down. At times they drop as BHP did today and form a gap which then the next day it goes back up slightly and is green, but then the 3rd and 4th day it comes down again.
