institutional traders will often try to if possible, sell into a close to achieve a lower closing price when building a position. This allows them to buy further volumes the next morning on open at a lower average price for the total position. not saying this has occured, but just to add to discussion. if we see a strong night on the dow, i would expect a retest of 38c.
