At the current share price the directors would have to think a share buy back may be a sensible option. That's if they think investing in their own company is a good option for some of the cash holding. I know a share buy back has come up before in HC discussions but it now must be a stronger possibility.
I think it is also time for the company to come out with a financial guidance advice for the full year. Apart from the news about back taxes and a less than impressive half yearly the lack of any encouraging signs (apart from a director buying) fully explains why the share price has drifted lower.
