The thing is they would only be paying for the emails of members - they have seemingly good membership numbers but the internet is vary transient with regards to memberships for market research and "free" stuff- they are generally not return users and are often kids just trying to get stuff for free. A lot of the emails they use to sign up are fake or dont work. So the membership numbers are in reality inflated as well
