They have made announcements like this before where you make an assumption they are acquiring something but in the end it ends up they have been acquired....
I wouldnt be surprised if they have coughed up some more ground to Santos or Total and in the process have proven to a banker that they are now investment grade for lending money to drill at Surprise East...
