On reviewing the terms of the convertible notes and shares to Glencore, it is interesting to note that if a transaction is implemented via the conversion of the notes that it would be in Glencores interest for the exchange rate between the US $ and AUST $ to be as low as possible. The lower the AUST $ the more shares Glencore obtain in IBG (p34 of 69 pwc report)
Question; is it possible Glencore are waiting for the aussie to come of record high's ??
