I am inclined to agree with @jace.h
Related party transactions like this always look bad, but given management's recent good history I am inclined to give them the benefit of the doubt, for now.
Surely Thorney would have to support the deal in order for it to go through given the size of their holding. Forager reported having about 7% of their fund in SSM at one time, but I am not sure which one they are on the top 20 list.
