For the price weakness I have no idea. I wouldn't have thought it was anything related to an acquisition though. Not sure now is the right time with Au at highs like it is. EVN are in no hurry I believe, so it would pay to wait it out. But who knows?
I'd only note that in its history, EVN has had a habit of going the wrong way quite often only to revert later. I well remember SBM flying while EVN tanked. We all saw how that panned out in the end which is why EVN is a LT hold. But why? I never could figure it out.
