Hi Caketin . I don't think the buying was on the back of these deals. All the info in the market appears to be from a BP document on Friday and today's article in the Australian. I am sure a few insto's must have been contacted but they are normally pretty tight. I asked a broker friend last month about what he thought of paragon and its steady price increase and he said that Paragon had over the past 3 months raised its profile and that he had a few queries and outside of myself had never had a query. Ho says that Health industry is really hot at the moment so it was always going to get more attention as long as it was hitting its guidance.
I think its really only been in the past 72 hours that anything has been out there. I certainly only got a question from an investor over the weekend and neither of us had anything concrete to add.
We don't realise how small this company is - to raise $44 million is probably 25 to 40 clients including Insto's. Probably took all of 5 hours.
I will take up as much as I can. Already looking to free up more cash.
