There's been NO public housing built in Queensland since the mid 1970's to early 1980's Also keep in mind that Public housing falls under State Government planning.
Building of QLD Public Housing was stopped in the 1980's upon ALP gaining near political control for the past 34 Years.
For the record QLD Labor have held office from December 1989 through to current December 2023 ALP has been in office for 28 of the past 34 Years.
Unfortunately, we end up with the society that we the voters Elect. For the record from December 1989 through to current December 2023 ALP has been in office for 29 of the past 34 Years. Hence Hence, our current dire state of Queensland's legal system, Policing & Hospitals, lack of public housing and terrible road network.
