Despite our lawyers previously hinting towards a reduced figure, this still comes as extremely bad news, as many of us were hoping against hope that the settlement might be higher. We share your pain and upset at this result. The PIF AG committee are disappointed that much prior work put into this long running case has now (conditionally) arrived at such a poor result. Nevertheless, we understand it is the law and we are thankful for something. It is better than a loss. Other participants who have basically written off their investment in the PIF may see this as a small consolation
