With all due respect folks.... KEY is run by a professional, proven management team, with runs on the board re: the ability to produce real shareholder value.
They aren't Johnny-come-lately's to this listed business stuff in the oil game. As proven before the do come up with results and they do know their stuff.
In the real-world, project management and the development of a cash producing asset in any industry, whether it be resources, O&G, telecommunications or medicine takes a hell of a lot of time and effort, and unfortunately more often than not will take longer than expected. I work in medical device commercialisation and understand the tedious effort that it takes even to get a relatively advanced and tested product etc to market. Even the final regulatory and bureaucracy phase is massive. Yes, I am one of the few on HC who still have a job and haven't made millions trading perfectly and predicting everything since I first shorted the tech crash.
I admit, I am a relative newcomer to KEY, and more than understand the frustration that holder who have been around a lot longer than I must feel with what seems a very slow process. I have done it with other stocks.
Being a newbie to KEY I took the effort to read over the last couple of years of posts on KEY threads. There are countless examples of posters with adamant speculation (are they mutually exclusive? anyway....) that when something happens i.e. a notice at this timing means this or a presentation released here means this, or this buyer (seller) doing this means this etc. anyway, it can be educational (and a bit amusing) to compare the wild speculation with what actually happened with the benefit of hindsight. 99% of times nothing happened.
Anyway, back to my point... management are professional, they are not some dodgey team who sneak things in places at weird times to try to deceive 'suckers'(shareholders).
Anyway, the AGM is a month away,lots of info there. there WILL be disclosure of what equity issues will be used for.
There WILL be a Annual Report soon. In 2008, it was released the same day as the Notice of Annual General Meeting/Proxy Form, i.e. today! (They do work on Perth time remember).
There WILL be a Qtly within a week or so.
Expect to be informed soon, if not you can take tomatoes to the AGM.
I understand it is very frustrating, however I also read this on almost every thread on HC.
Professional management are that and not sales men like lot of others.
Sorry for the long rant.
