There's a guy named Mark Lynas touring Australia at the moment . Apparently he was a well known enviromental activist back in the day against GM crops .
About five years ago he made a public apology to admit that , based on the scientific data , he was wrong .
He's written a new book about it and he gave a speech to the National Press Club this week .
