After a brief read of the Activities Report there doesn't seem to be anything we haven't been aware of. Simply, business as usual with no significant leap forward. Almost like BOW is in caretaker mode until the takeover is completed.
One thing of interest though is the attraction Arrow has for BOW's quality staff. It makes you wonder whether this has as much to do with Arrow's bid as it's acreage.
How much do you pay for quality in-situ staff. Obviously Arrow thinks it is worth quite a bit. Perhaps the other majors don't need extra staff or don't appreciate the quality within BOW.
This all makes me think that another bid probably won't emerge. BOW is looking after it's own so far as their staff is concerned and we as shareholders are a lot better off than we were pre offer. So the deal will likely go ahead with everyone's integrity intact and Arrow will have a steal. I suspect that's the reality of it.
