Interesting to see the HUI index of gold producer moving higher over night , despite market conditions and gold moving lower again. Like Trombone said , it gets to a point where the POG begins not to matter. Gold stock prices never really had these $1500+ gold prices factored into them anyway. Most gold stock have moved considerably lower since gold moved above 1400 levels.
We could actually start to see a contrarian play (like back in 1980;s ) where gold stocks (especially juniors) started to move higher AFTER gold had come off the boil.
I think the market wants to see where this POG is going to plataeu for an extended period of time , before it moves forward with any confidence.
