The biggest hurdle to overcome now is increasing the proposed hours of The Activity Test.
If the figures reported in the annual report are correct, the proposed Activity Test could prove to be a concern for G8.
Enrolment advances G8 $8.26m.
Enrolment advances Goodstart $11.1m.
The enrolment advance (interest free loan) is close to $150 per child.
Parents fees in advance G8 $10.23m.
Parents fees in advance Goodstart $10.40m.
G8 510 centres providing care to 75,000 children.
Goodstart 645 centres providing care to 69,600 children.
It is possible for G8 to have 135 fewer centres than Goodstart and still be providing care to more children, but only if enrolments in those centres are children who are attending one day, and if what is reported is correct, then the Activity Test may provide a problem for those G8 families.
Happy to be have someone confirm those figures for me.
