Could you please provide more detail on why you see the Activity Test as a potential concern for G8 under the new rules?
If I understand correctly, the main difference is going to be that the new single subsidy will be both income- and activity-tested; but
- The work/study requirement to pass the Activity Test is not changing
- The minimum guaranteed allowance for those failing the test is not changing
- The overall amount of government subsidy is increasing
So, why do you see the new rules as a concern? Am I missing anything?
