It looks like our views are different, but ultimately consistent with one another.

You look at early education mainly from a children rights and fairness perspective, and you point out possible areas of improvement for G8, which happens to be a major player within your sector of interest. That’s very good, and I value your input.

I, on the other hand, am looking at G8 mostly from an investment perspective, i.e. my main concern is to work out what the Company is intrinsically worth, under a sufficiently conservative set of assumptions.

Fairness considerations aside (and not because they are not important), we seem to agree about the fact that FDC is unlikely to represent an existential threat for G8; that being the case, my investment rationale for G8 comes out strengthened from this discussion.

Note that I am not saying this for the sake of point scoring. On the contrary, the very reason why I shared my two-cent worth of financial analysis on HC was to see if someone else could see something I had missed in my reasoning. In this regard, your feedback (as well as the one of other posters here) has been most helpful.

So, the main question lingering in my mind right now is whether I’m trying to be too cute, waiting for a pullback before adding to my GEM holding.

Oh, well.
