I think if the goal is to take advantage of expected rise in US bond yield, there are many ways to get that in more direct way than buying a potentially fundamentally troubled company.
The management does not like to disclose their problems unless they really have to (reporting day). Which means there might be more termites in the house than what we currently 'know'.
The advantage in the yield (even if you're right, it seems like the US is more than willing to supress interest rate for longer than needed) can be offset with further deterioration in the fundamentals.
