Correction to my previous post. My mate checked the numbers and found a jump of one cell in my spreadsheet calculations.
It is not $3.6 Billion but $1.0 Billion and together with Pr and Nd oxides becomes approximately $1.7 Billion. Still substantial enough.
"Slightly changing the topic, if you run the same numbers on Duncan deposit instead of CLD, the outcome is very impressive. About 1500 tons for non La, Ce, Pr and Nd. If used today's prices on that composition yields a revenue of around $3.6 billion. Together with Pr and Nd Oxides it actually goes upto $4.3 billion."
