Last night about midnight i checked the textron fastening systems website and i saw what was the closing parts of what appeared to be a power point presentation on hhe change of name for Textron Fastening Systems The new name was to be Acumen Global Technologies
The presentation then disappeared and is still not available Looked up the dictionary definition of the word Acumen It means Keen discernment and abilityto make good judgements. Hope this is an omen.
In the tz Review of Operations in the 2006 Annual report needing to make a creditable bid for tfs assets which included establishing a partnership with one of the worlds largest banking groupsas an equity partner This bid i assume did not succeed As a shareholder when might we be informed of this failure ? It also claims thatsignificant value will accrue in the near future based on these initiatives Has the bid by Platinum Equity snuffed out this value
