Yep, it's a combination of liquidity, free float and market cap - S&P tend to be pretty tight lipped on the exact methodology used.
Audinate will be fine on liquidity; trading around $1.5M a day. Which is in line or above most similarly sized companies in the ASX300 (API $1.7M, NCK $1.4M, VLR $800k, IRI $700k)
