Oh Enigma , you are a simple soul , i will happily have more taxes , but being a halfwit , you obviously dont understand this measure. It aims to change behaviour , and may well be cost neutral for the government.
I dont actually like the structure of this change , as it seems to be focused on fuel , rather than overall carbon impact , but the point is that the idiot Greens , who should be in favour of this , are threatening to sabotage it. Classic Greens , ''destroy the good because it is not perfect''.
