The Greens policies will ultimately reflect whatever their membership base and electoral supporters determine they should be. At the moment they're gaining a lot of traction on the housing issue. The only way for the majors to make the Greens irrelevant is to develop policies in those areas that current Greens voters regard as superior to what the Greens are purporting to offer.
