Scotty I gotta ask mate. If these reports are true and Goodsey is telling an old Saffa woman "you have stolen my land", do you or lappie or anyone else honestly think a powerless advisory board will diffuse this tension? There are many aboriginals with white hot rage about white man/colonialisation etc (with historical justification no doubt), but if this is the attitude shown - you whiteys stole my land, get out, give it back - how exactly is giving that position a louder voice doing anything for unity?

Like it or not, colonialisation happened. Telling someone who clearley emigrated to aus in the last 30 years based on her accent that "you've stolen my land" is about as useful to a cause as me saying "aboriginals just need to work hard". Achieves zero

I cant understand ghow you can see how this has played out and consider it anything but divisive
