Plenty of players get booed - it only spurs them on and lets them know they're doing a good job... Ballantyne comes to mind, gets booed a lot.. and love him or hate him, you can guarantee he is going 100% hard and leaving nothing behind. You'd rather him to be on your team than against you most of the time. When he was asked about the booing, he said he accepts why it happens, and he just puts his head down and goes even harder.
What does Goodes do? Whinge about it. That's the difference, and why people don't respect him.
