Very much a HOF Footballer is Adam Goodes and that is why the AFL will continue to invite him into the company of the Greats of the Game. But and their is always is a but. Why does he treat the game that has created all his wealth and his fame with utter contempt. The game and all those who support it do not deserve this. Goodes may have decided to be an activist for the maligned indigenous people of Australia but to a lot of people including myself he brings nothing but ill feeling towards him. Nobody whoever they are goes through life smooth sailing we all have to overcome obstacles to survive and prosper and Goodes no doubt has done better than most because he kicked a piece of pig skin around. It really does not matter whether he goes into the HOF or not no one will remember his name in 25 years and mostly no one will care.
