The interesting thing here is not so much how Metronic or Edwards feel about this. It's actually how other large MED tech companie with all the infrastructure, scale, contacts and established sales teams across the US will feel about this.
This market is extremely lucrative so if you had all of the structure to compete but no product and all of a sudden you had the opportunity to licence, partner or buy a superior product to what the incumbents are currently selling with a combined 80% market share, what would you do????
So either Metronic or Edwards will do something with us or risk one of their large competitors in other markets entering their precious TAVR market on the back of our IP and TAVR prototype.
In a relatively new, fast growing and very lucrative market interest will be very strong (IMO). I have no doubt about that.
