Sydney - Wednesday - October 8: (RWE Aust Business News) -
Bellevue Resources (ASX:BVE) reports encouraging preliminary results
from the first hole in a 5-hole (or 1000m) drilling program at the Tumut
Gold Mine prospect in southern NSW.
The hole, on the 100pc-owned copper-gold Coolac project
intersected 99m of disseminated sulphides and quartz alteration from
58.9m to 158.04m downhole.
This drill hole was planned to test below a gossanous, quartz
alteration zone at surface which produced rockchip sample results of 20m
@ 4.05 g/t gold. Other rockchip sample results along strike included
grades as high as 7.65 g/t gold and 45.6 g/t silver.
Assay results for this first drill hole should be available in
approximately 5 weeks.
Managing Director, Mr Jeremy Read, said today that to intersect
99 metres of quartz alteration and disseminated mineralisation "was a
very positive and exciting result for so early in the drill program".
