You might want to add this one to your Uranium watch list...very tightly held and inmo huge potential
Palace's Tanami Project includes five Exploration Licence Applications, covering over 5,900km2. The tenements are located in the Northern Territory, 150km north of the Tanami Gold Mine. Palace holds 100% interest in the uranium rights of these tenements.
The project area covers the eastern extent of both the Palaeoproterozoic Tanami Complex and Lower-Mid Proterozoic sediments of the Birrindudu-Victoria Basin.
Within the northern portion of the project area, at Browns Range South there are a number of large coherent uranium anomalies. As the mineralisation targeted by Palace has a known chlorite association, it is recommended that airborne EM be used as this will be particularly useful where the target unconformity lies obscured beneath cover sequences. This will allow Palace to quickly assess large areas of the target unconformity.
In the Western portion of the Tanami Project analysis of radiometric data has revealed two main areas in the eastern portion of the project areas near Lake Buck where large, linear uranium-high (Th-K low) anomalies associated with paleodrainage occur.
A digital database will be compiled in GIS format to include all previous exploration, geology and geophysics that will aid in the refinement of existing targets and the selection of new targets. When access to the ground is obtained any initial field work should include geological prospecting and sampling of priority areas. Following this, it is recommended that priority targets will be further defined with ground based geophysics (EM, radiometrics) prior to drill testing.
