I think I may have missed the biggest thing of all;
IE that Gogo Wifi is an out-dated system no longer being installed?
…. So all discussions with those airlines who still have Gogo will be about cost benefit savings of installing to old fleet now that this process is FAA certified?
FWIW to anyone else out there the reasons I believe Gogo is an historic wifi connector that is no longer being ordered any more is the strength of competitor ViaSat and the fact that Gogo seems to have been on the way out since at least the time it was bought by Instelstat in late 2020 (

An STC is required where there is an actual change to the airframe ie the cutting out of the part of the fuselage where the radome is located. So I wonder if the next bits of news may well be of the potentially more profitable approval of certification/service bulletin approval of use of the CVM tech in the Aft Pressure Bulkhead … or of AEM directing some of the money it will soon receive into some new growth venture?
NB I am not trying to bag management nor SMN, just get a clearer idea of what is likely to happen from here, and if anybody has relevant information indicating GoGo is still a platform of choice, please say.
