ADDITIONAL HIGH GRADE GOLD DRILLED AT KOMSEM GOLD PROSPECT
ANDEWA PROJECT, PAPUA NEW GUINEA

Frontier Resources Ltd is pleased to announce that hole AFD010 targeted and confirmed the continuity of higher gold grades at a moderate depth (approx. 85m vertically) in the main mineralised structure with 3.0m of 10.97g/t gold at the Komsen Prospect, New Britain Province, Papua New Guinea. Komsen is located about 400 km from the Kokoda Track.

The following conclusions/observations are noted.

_ Andesites appear to be the dominant rock type within the prospect. In most cases this andesite unit is massive and weakly fractured. The andesites are in turn intruded by a series of narrow dioritic to porphyritic dykes. These dykes appear to be post mineral and thus may have no relationship to the mineralisation process. Fresh dykes were also noted within the altered zones.

-) The altered/mineralised veins/structures range from a few centimetres to several metres. The maximum logged width is approximately 5m. The contact between the andesites and these structures is clean and unbrecciated.

-) Alteration within the andesites is dominantly propylitic with chlorite-carbonate-pyrite–magnetite being the main components. Within the alteration zones alteration is dominantly a silica- sericite –clay –pyrite assemblage. Silicification is usually pervasive, from moderate to strong. Up to 20% sulphides (dominantly pyrite-chalcopyrite-sphalerite-galena) occur as disseminations, blebs and as fracture fills.

-) Assay results indicate that elevated gold results do not necessarily correspond to high base metals values even though some high base metal values correspond to elevated gold assays. The high base metal assays are directly related to the presence of chalcopyritesphalerite- galena in core, likely representing mineralisation distal to a porphyry copper/gold intrusion (postulated to occur to the east of Komsen).

-) High arsenic values also correspond well with high gold values and high gold values correspond well to areas with silica overprint over argillic alteration.
