Yesterday's announcement of an additional 251 km of exploration licence 'Nyoko', part of Mumbwa, which contains the exceptional Kitumba copper project is indeed a boon for Blackthorn Resources. The licence is for two years but, forms part of of a renewal program that allows a further two, two year renewals to be granted. The potential for additional IOCG discoveries and expanded growth of the Kitumba resource is a real possibility.
Added to the above news is the announcement today of the imminent Pre Feasibilty Study of Kitumba, to gauge the viability of the project towards future production of the resource. Additional drilling results are on the horizon.
The evolution of Blackthorn Resources continues on a very positive, well managed trajectory.
