I heard about a potential consortium for PTR a couple of months ago, though never called GRK to hear what they had to say.

I'm not sure if they intend on re-drilling Blanche1 or starting another as Blanche2, but I do know the target depth will be at least 5500m. The Blanche1 is the only well deep well that GRK have drilled at O.D, though I am not sure if there were some early stage shallow wells drilled.

If that article in the Advertiser was accurate, it seems a very strange way to inform the market that negotiations with BHP have commenced. Why release the news there and not in the AGM presentation?

I'm skeptical, but if a JV with BHP can be initiated, watch those GRK/OA fly. Considering the likelihood that GRK have at some stage approached BHP, I'm going to hold until at least the new year to see if anything interesting develops.
