Looks like Adeliade is just a chess piece.
It just shows that NBN needs to be quicker and reliable.
Not built on a old copper backbone.
This will force the NBN to lower its price as its offering a lower quality service which may or may not be suitable for big business.
Maybe little cafe, restaurants and etc that doesn't need internet at a cutthroat price.
But then they risk losing out to other cafes that office free wireless access on premises. Like the millions of kids in Starbucks. LOL.
TPG has really got NBN by the nuts...what would happen if it offered the Adeliade free internet. But Adeliade Council paid them directly and recouped the cost through council rates for certain postcodes.
This would really destroy NBN.
