Adelaide Energy's gas production boostArticle from:

ADELAIDE Energy expects to double or even triple gas production from its Katnook plant near Penola in the coming months.
The company yesterday said work had now started on building the pipelines to connect its Jacaranda Ridge and Limestone Ridge wells to the Katnook plant.
These would complement production from the company's existing wells, which underpinned the company's $1.84 million in revenues for the 11 months to the end of November last year.
The company also had started a feasibility study on building a gas-fired power plant at its Ladbroke Grove site, which is also in the state's South-East.
Managing director Carl Dorsch said Jacaranda Ridge and Limestone Ridge would be tied into Katnook by the end of April.
"Also we're drilling another two wells which will be Hollick and Brand,'' Mr Dorsch said. ``We would expect significant revenue increases.''
The company picked up two new exploration licences last year and was continuing to explore the area, with a company now contracted to start shooting seismic exploration next month.
Adelaide Energy said it would be releasing weekly updates on the Otway petroleum project during the next three months because of the large amount of work that was going on there.
