Any country being threatened by the USA is smart to arm up. USA has invaded 14 countries and conducted military activity in over 50 countries since WW2. China are yet to prove themselves to be anywhere near as aggressive.
They make fun movies and speak the same language but the USA owns most of the debt in our property bubble and the lions share of the profits from OUR natural resources. We are basically the victims of their protection racket.
