Interest rate rises will not worry me. I have no debt.
I have a little bit of cash in term deposits, so in theory I will benefit there.
The only effect that COL rises will have on me is in my discretionary spending. I eat out 4 or 5 times a week. I may have to cut back, not a big sacrifice.
I also drink wine, not "fourpenny dark" and there may have to be some adjustments there.
I'll be okay. Many won't. Like OA Pensioners who are already struggling.
